First up, Marcy Kirk.

Dental Hygienist
How did you choose your profession?
I always wanted to do something in the medical field, a place where I could help people and be around people. Originally I wanted to be a nurse but quickly realized it was not for me after volunteering in a hospital for the summer. I was intrigued by the dental field and was looking for a career that I could do “part time” knowing that my ultimate goal was to get married and have children. I wanted to be able to be a part time “stay at home mom” and have a fulfilling career.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
The relationships with other team members and with our guests that have developed over the years. I have an “extended” family at All Smiles Care. I love being able to work with an awesome group of people helping our guests take care of their “smiles” and at the same time enjoy the time spent with them and catching up on what is going on in their lives.
Hobbies:
I like to read, scrapbook and do crafts. I enjoy riding horses with my daughter occasionally and walks with friends. I also enjoy helping the children at the Awana program at church.
What makes you smile?
Many things in life make me smile but at the top of the list would be spending time with my friends and my family, my husband of 32 years, Jim, my son, Nate and his wife Becky, and my daughter Ashley, all my extended family, and of course my dogs too!
